Enjoying the Fall Weather:)

Well, we have been back home in Cali for some time now from Miami. Enjoying our family, friends and especially the weather. Miami was very humid and Expensive!! Kam is in the process of studying for his step and I am back in school to continue my education for nursing. It's tough with both of us in school and just sometimes not having enough time to enjoy life and especially being broke from school expenses, but we look toward the future:) It will all pay off. 

So in the process of planning for our 2012 wedding, Kam's mom asked that we move our Cambodian Wedding to May, instead of August!!! AHhhhhhh, I Freaked and then just realized we get to celebrate all year long. Cambodian wedding in May and Traditional wedding in August:) Soo excited!! We are slowly planning and hope to take our Engagement photos in December after his step. Keep everyone posted!!

Let the Wedding Planning begin:)

This is all so new to me! A girl's biggest day of her life aside to giving birth, is an emotional and exciting roller coaster. I am beginning the wedding planning. We hope to wed in August of 2012, which means we have a year to plan. It will be an exciting year!!! So fired up, scared and overjoyed with many events to come. Thank god for my Mom and Friends for help. We will be having two ceremonies to celebrate this joyous occasion. A Cambodian and American tradition. Many more details to come. Gonna begin to make appointments to check out reception venues. Yay!!!

Living the Life in Miami:)

We have been living in Miami since the 2nd week of May, and are living in the downtown area. Our place is AMAZING with a spectacular view and great kitchen. This semester for Kam has been pretty simple and provided us plenty of time to spend together. We like to walk around town, eat different places, cruise South Beach and relax! I officially move back home to California tomorrow and Kam comes back on the 20th. It's a bittersweet moment, really sad to leave this place but excited to be back in our own bed and with our family and friends:) We miss them sooo much!! But now Kam is officially in his 3rd year of Medical School!!!! YAY!! So proud of this Man:)

Living in Miami:)

We moved back to Miami as a couple May 15, 2011. We are living in Downtown Miami and loving every bit of it. We are located only 6 miles from South Beach and a few blocks from most of our friends. Kam has school just about every day and has started his hospital clinics at near by locations. His first rotation was in the ER. Vey scary, but interesting. He comes home with intense stories and sometimes followed by scary nightmares. Every day we wake up and feel extremely blessed as a couple to be living this amazing life. At times it can be difficult but we deal and strive!

All packed and Ready for MIAMI!!!!!!

We are officially packed and ready to leave to our next journey. We fly out of LAX at 8:30am and arrive in the late afternoon in Miami. Khemarint is finishing his 2nd year of medical school and its gets tougher as he continues. I am so very proud of this man for so many reasons, but most important for being STRONG for us. We will be in Miami til August and we can't wait for this amazing journey to begin:)

We're ENGAGED!!!

It's Official, we are Engaged!! 

After meeting on a random day while snowboarding and quickly falling for each other, we are taking it to the next step. It was a Wonderful day that was planned for a while by Kam. The day started as any other day of errands and then we were off to a destination that was unknown to me. We arrived at a Holiday Inn at Santa Barbara and settled in. We went shopping and came back to get ready for my belated Bday dinner. We then arrived at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito. We valeted our car and was apparently early for reservations and then proceeded to their Garden, where he was acting nervous and different and then got down on one knee and asked if i would spend the rest of my life with him. After the shock settled in, i asked, "are you sure?" Lol, and then said YES!!!!!! 

We finished the evening with an AMAZING dinner and dessert and returned to our room, where we excitedly called our family and friends:) And the rest of the week was filled with wine tastings and food in Solvang! (our 2nd Favorite place in the world, VEGAS is the 1st!) 

Thanku Kam for truly being my Prince Charming and sweeping me off my feet, literally!! 

Kam will be home in a few hours:)

I can't  wait to kiss, hug and jump on him!!! After four long months of being apart, i will finally be in Kam's arms tonight!! I am so very proud of him and just want to begin our romantic weekend and week in Solvang:) 

He comes home in 4 DAYS!!!

I can't wait, my Kammy has been gone since January and is finally coming home to me!! I am sooo proud of him and his many achievements. He has busted his ASS and I am soo very proud! The past 16 months of him being out of the country has not been easy. And i can not wait to welcome him home. And our first destination will be to Solvang for a much needed Vacation of R & R. 

Thank you Kam for being a great inspiration and such a hard worker. You have encouraged me to achieve the Best out of life and I loveu more and more each day:)  

He's gone back to the Rock!!

Ummm, so yeah. Kam has gone back to the island of Dominica and I am back home now. We arrived back on December 17th and Kam departed without me on January 10th. It is so hard to be with someone for so long, every day and every night and then become separated. We both understand its for good reason, for him to finish school and for me to get a grown up job. But it's still very hard. I miss him soooo much and it's hard to sleep. I'm used to him breathing like a fat kid on my neck and stealing all the blankets. Anyways, it will all be worth the wait. Kammy is back home in April:)
